A generator left outside does not last.
UV rays crack the plastic housing. Rain seeps into the vents and rusts the engine. Dust clogs the air filter. A cover is the cheapest insurance you can buy for a generator.
- ▪ Sun fades and cracks. Six months of direct sunlight turns black plastic chalky and brittle. Seals harden, gaskets crack, paint peels.
- ▪ Rain and humidity rust. Even inverter generators have steel parts. Moisture in the fuel tank, on the engine block, on the frame means hard starts and corrosion.
- ▪ Dust and leaves get into everything. Vents, air filter, control panel. A generator left outside gathers a layer of grime you have to clean off before every use.
- ▪ A cover blocks all of it. 600D polyester with a waterproof coating sheds rain, blocks UV, and keeps the dust off. The generator stays clean, dry and ready to run.

A tailored shell for your inverter generator.
Slip it over the generator, cinch the drawcord, done. The cover stays on through wind and rain.

Tight-weave polyester with a waterproof PU coating. Thicker than the 300D covers that rip in a season. Water beads and rolls off.
Blocks 98% of UV rays. The cover fades slowly, the generator underneath does not. Extends the life of the plastic housing.
Bottom hem stretches and the drawcord cinches tight. Wind does not blow it off, rain does not run up underneath.
Silver reflective strips on the sides make the generator visible at night. Less likely to trip over it in the dark.
Water beading, not soaking through.
The fabric is the product. Everything else is stitching and fit.

- ▪ Double-stitched seams. All stress points are double-stitched. The bottom hem, the corners, the handle cutouts.
- ▪ Mesh vent window. A small mesh panel lets air circulate so condensation does not build up inside while the generator is stored.
- ▪ Handle cutouts. Pre-cut slots line up with the generator’s carrying handles. Lift it by the handles without taking the cover off.
- ▪ Folds into a storage bag. When you need to run the generator, fold the cover and stuff it into the included storage bag.
Three steps, thirty seconds.
The cover goes on when the generator is off and cool. Never cover a running generator.
Turn off the generator, let it cool down completely. A running or hot generator needs airflow and cannot be covered.
Drape the cover over the top of the generator. Line up the handle cutouts and the control panel window.
Pull the drawcord at the bottom hem until it is snug. Tie the cord or use the cord lock. Wind cannot get underneath.

What it fits, and what it does not.
It is sized for compact inverter generators. Not for open-frame generators or whole-house units.
| Use it for | Fits | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Inverter generators | 2000 to 3500 watt compact inverter units | Most 2200W, 2500W, 3000W and 3500W inverter generators fit. Measure your unit if unsure. |
| Outdoor storage | Patios, decks, garage corners, RV bays | When the generator is not running. The cover is for storage, not operation. |
| Dust and weather protection | Rain, dust, sun, snow, leaves | Waterproof and UV resistant. Not for submersion or heavy snow load. |
| Open-frame generators | — | Open-frame construction generators are larger and taller. This cover is for compact inverter boxes only. |
| Covering a running generator | — | Never. A running generator needs airflow. Cover only when off and cooled down. |
Note: Measure your generator before ordering. The universal fit covers units up to approx. 24 x 17 x 18 inches.
Three ways to leave a generator outside.
Same generator, same spot, and the real difference in how long it lasts.
| At a glance | This 600D cover | 300D budget cover | Tarp and bungee | No cover |

| Water resistance | Waterproof PU coating, beading | Water resistant, soaks through over time | Waterproof, but flaps and leaks | None, everything gets wet |
| UV protection | UV-resistant coating | Minimal, fades in a season | Minimal | None, plastic cracks |
| Wind resistance | Elastic hem and drawcord | Loose fit, blows off | Bungee cords pop off | N/A |
| Fit | Tailored, handle cutouts | Loose, one size | Rough, bunching | N/A |
| Expected life | 3-5 years outdoors | 1 season | 1 season | Generator degrades |

Waterproof generator cover and a matching storage bag.
Measure your generator before ordering. This cover is for compact inverter generators only. Do not cover a running or hot generator.
Four rules that keep the cover and generator working.
A cover is simple, but a few habits make it last longer and protect the generator better.
- ▪ Cover only when off and cool. A running generator builds heat and needs airflow. Covering it traps heat and moisture.
- ▪ Wipe the generator before covering. Leaves, grass clippings and mud under the cover hold moisture. Brush it off first.
- ▪ Rinse and air dry the cover. Hose it off once a season, hang it to dry fully before folding it back into the storage bag.
- ▪ Check the drawcord in winter. Snow and ice add weight. Make sure the cord is cinched so snow does not pool on top.

Most 2000 to 3500 watt inverter generators share a similar footprint, around 24 x 17 x 18 inches. Measure your unit and compare.
No. A running generator needs airflow for cooling. Always run it uncovered.
It sheds rain and light snow, but heavy wet snow adds weight. Brush off snow after a storm. Do not let snow pile up.
Hose it off with cool water, mild soap if needed, then hang it to dry completely. Do not machine wash or dry.
No. There is a clear vinyl window on the front so you can see the control panel without removing the cover.
- ▪ 600D polyester waterproof cover for compact inverter generators.
- ▪ Blocks rain, dust, UV and snow. Elastic hem and drawcord for a snug fit.
- ▪ Fits most 2000-3500W inverter generators. Handle cutouts and mesh vent.
- ▪ Comes with a storage bag for when you need to run the generator.
