Four rules that keep the sheets cool and fresh.
A sheet set is low maintenance, but a few habits keep it working.
- ▪ Wash cold, dry low. Hot water breaks down the silver treatment faster. Cold wash and low dry keep the cooling effect longer.
- ▪ Do not use fabric softener. Fabric softener coats the fibers and blocks the breathability. Skip it or use a vinegar rinse.
- ▪ Change every 7 to 10 days. Silver treatment extends freshness, but sheets still need regular washing. Every 7 to 10 nights is the sweet spot.
- ▪ Do not bleach. Bleach damages the silver fibers and the fabric. Use a color-safe detergent.
